Hrithik Roshan, who underwent a surgery to remove a clot in his brain, was discharged on Thursday morning. According to the official statement from the hospital, "It is expected that he would be able to resume his routine activities after four weeks." Mother Pinky and wife Sussanne were at home with the kids, Hrehaan and Hridhaan, as they were not allowed at the hospital.
The actor was overheard saying that he couldn't wait to see his children. Hrithik and his dad After completing the formalities, the actor thanked the doctors, nurses and other hospital staff. Hrithik and his dad Rakesh Roshan stood outside the hospital for a few minutes, waving to his fans and the media.
Rakesh said, "Hrithik is feeling great. Thanks to all his well-wishers, fans, friends and the media for their support and good wishes." Dr. Vishal Beri, Chief Operations Officer of the hospital said, "We are happy at Hrithik's successful surgery and recovery."
Hrithik had been suffering from nagging headaches and was diagnosed with subdural hematoma, a condition in which a clot forms between the outer and middle layers covering the brain.

Hrithik Roshan, who underwent a brain surgery at Khar's Hinduja Healthcare Surgical on July 7, returned home on Thursday. His father Rakesh Roshan, sister Sunaiana , his maternal grandparents J. Om Prakash and his wife reached the hospital around 9.30 in the morning and around 11.45 the 39-year-old actor emerged from the hospital gates wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt looking buoyant as ever.
His wife Sussanne, who was at the hospital by the actor’s side the whole night had left the hospital before him to make sure that the actor gets a warm welcome when he reaches home. And when Hrihik reached his Juhu residence, Palazzio Appartments, the fans were eagerly waiting on the road to get a glimpse of their beloved star and inside were bouquets and gifts from friends and relatives.
The actor was diagnosed with chronic subdural haematoma (a clot had formed between Hrithik's brain and the left side of his skull) on Saturday. According to sources, the clot was the result of a stunt the actor undertook during the Bangkok schedule of his upcoming film Bang Bang.
