The star is keen to watch it, too, and is figuring out his date schedule
A Malayalam comedy film titled Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan, has released to a great opening in the south. KHR stars Malayalam actor Vishnu Unnikrishnan and revolves around an aspiring actor called Hrithik Roshan who comes from the village Kattappana and yearns to become a superstar like Hrithik as he is inspired by him.
Says an insider, “Nadhirshah and Vishnu are keen to come to Mumbai to show Hrithik the film. The star is keen to watch it, too, and is figuring out his date schedule.”
When asked about his reaction to a film being made with his name and inspired by his success, says, “I am honoured.”
He adds, “I wasn’t aware of this movie till a lot of people on my Twitter timeline started talking about it. I am curious and intrigued. I am being told that it’s done well, so would like to congratulate the makers.”
About the film
It’s story of a middle-class boy, Kichu and his father Surendran, who dream of making Kichu as popular a star as Hrithik. His father Surendran (known as the Hrithik Roshan of Kattappana in his village) aspired to be an actor, but failed. Now he attempts to make his son a big actor, but Kichu has an inferiority complex and haunted by the thought whether he can emerge as big as a star as his namesake.
