Actor to pile on 10 kilos of muscle for his portrayal of Vijay Chauhan in Agneepath remake For over a year now, Hrithik Roshan seems to be on a weight-gaining spree. However, unlike his wheelchair-bound role in Guzaarish, for which he had become a little paunchy, the actor is adding muscle weight for the remake of Agneepath. Of course, the light-eyed star had to work out extensively to first lose the unwanted fat... Only then did he start bulking up for his new movie. At the same time, he also followed a strict diet, avoiding calorierich food and indulging in high-protein nutrients instead. Set to go from 72 kg to 82-84 kg, Roshan will look huge on screen. “But it will be a very muscular look, for which he's training for two hours every day,“ reveals his trainer, Satyajit Chaurasia, adding, “His overpowering presence will be evident even though he'll be wearing full-sleeved shirts.“

Does that mean after all this bulking up, the actor won't bare his beefy torso? “No. There are only a couple of bare-bodied portions in the action sequences,“ smiles the ace celebrity fitness guru. Roshan is following his prescribed diet perfectly, eating every two-three hours. “Twenty egg whites, two chicken breasts alternating with fish, protein shakes, multivitamins and amino acids constitute a major part of Hrithik's diet,“ reveals Chaurasia. The actor ensures that he finishes his daily exercise regimen, even though he's got a busy date diary after signing up to be a judge on the TV show, Just Dance.

Chaurasia tells us that if Roshan has prior commitments during the day, he even trains at 1.30 am after his finishing up. The actor, who sports a stubble and wears jeans, shirts and chappals for his portrayal of Vijay Chauhan in the Agneepath remake, currently weighs 78.5 kgs. By the end of next month, he'll be 82-84 kgs, when the shooting for the action portions begins.

Sanjay Dutt goes bald

It has been reported that Sanjay Dutt, who plays a baddie in Karan Malhotra's Agneepath (he plays the suave Kancha Cheena enacted by Danny Denzongpa in the original), will go bald for the role. But the reality is a little different. A visitor to the set in Central Mumbai, where Sanju shot a two-day portion, told BT: "Sanju is bald in the film. He had a shining pate on March 2 and 3." However, those who met the 51-year old actor the very next day at his Pali Hill residence found his mop of hair intact.

In other words, the actor hasn't actually gone bald like Aamir Khan did for Ghajini and Salman Khan for Tere Naam. He is cheating the 'bald' look. Producer Karan Johar has called the international make-up artist Robin Slater to style Hrithik and also supervise Sanju's look. The make-up expert was seen fussing over the actor. There are a lot of things about this Agneepath that are different from the original Amitabh Bachchan-Mukul Anand cult classic of the 90s. There Danny had a nice mop of hair and was based out of Mauritius. Here, Dutt is bald and his headquarters are in the union territory of Diu. Sanjay remained unavailable for comment.
