Action scene is really emerging high and strong in Bollywood. If last year Krrish 3 and Dhoom 3 showed that Indian films could match up to international standards when it came to action, Kick - which is all set to arrive this Friday - promises to take the scene higher. Now with the teaser of Bang Bang giving more than just a glimpse of what the film of this scale, setting and caliber has to offer, it is crystal clear that the team of Siddharth Anand, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and Fox has managed to surpass the tall expectations that one carries from the film. It was always expected that the film would boast of some fast paced action, courtesy the fact that it has Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz starrer Knight and Day as the source and a predominant thriller theme with quite some road action on display. Moreover, with Hrithik Roshan in there, it was also given that style would hold the key, something that comes with the territory. Moreover, from someone who has the likes of Krrish series and Dhoom 2 under his belt, the scale had to be only set higher. However, what Bang Bang has achieved, it only sets the scale much higher for other action films in the pipeline. Again, these are still early days since the full-on theatrical version is yet to arrive while the film is still a good two months away. Nonetheless, as the adage goes, first impression is the best impression, and in that regard, Bang Bang manages to do what it was supposed to do - 'Make a brilliant bang on impression'. Bikes somersaulting in the air, cars speeding off the road, Hrithik defying gravity and standing in the air (literally!), F1 cars on a frantic pace and much more - It is action which is speaking the loudest. Moreover, with Katrina Kaif looking as enticing and glamorous as she can be, it is pretty much on the cards that in an author backed part which requires her to share space with Hrithik in almost every frame, she would be bringing a lot on the table, and of course the screen. As for Hrithik, he can finally be seen in a dare devil action avatar without a mask holding away any of the expressions. For the 40 year old actor, this could well be a fresh turn in his career with an altogether new fan base being created. And for those wondering how could the man behind romantic musicals like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Salaam Namaste and Anjaana Anjaani dish out an out and out action flick like this, let the fact be stated that for his Ta Ra Rum Pum, director Siddharth Anand had actually set a major part of the film on a racing track. Now that was just a teaser of what he had in the offering, and Bang Bang is only promising to give it a full blown shape. The wait for theatrical promo has perhaps just begun!

The first Bang Bang first look featuring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, which left the moviegoers awestruck, has bowled over Bollywood stars too with its action-packed teaser. The one minute high-on-action teaser has got the entire industry so excited and impressed that they took to Twitter to express their support for the film. Bang Bang has certainly become the most anticipated films of 2014. The film hits the screens on the October 2. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Bang Bang is produced by Fox Star Studios and has been shot in Prague, Phuket, Greece, US and Indian cities like Shimla, Manali, Delhi and Mumbai. A dangerous jump and Hrithik Roshan enters the teaser of 'Bang Bang'. The actor shows off some stunning stunts while Katrina Kaif accompanies him in skimpy outfits. She sure does add a lot of glamour quotient to the teaser but has her share of stunts too. Hrithik and Katrina have paired up again after Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. While that one was a romantic film, Bang Bang is more on the action side. The film is an official remake of Hollywood movie Knight and Day. Every effort is made to make the film Hollywood like by director Siddharth Anand. Water stunts, car chases, kick and punches, guns and goons - this film boasts of every entertainment ingredient you can think of. The film is all set to hit the screens this October.

Revealed on Wednesday, the teaser has slick action, fast cars and Bollywood's most good-looking pair sharing sizzling chemistry. And a lot of bullets. The film releases on October 2. Here are 5 reasons why this teaser will just blow you away…
The thrilling opening: As Hrithik begins the reverse countdown at the beginning of the teaser, we see him jumping off cliffs, cars and bikes doing cartwheels and bullets flying. And then, the real action begins. Yes people, in probably one of the most thrilling sequences we would see in a Bollywood film this year, Hrithik soars above water on a flyboard as he lets the bullets fly.
The sizzling Katrina-Hrithik chemistry: We have said this before and we will see it again, Kat and Hrithik are just perfectly matched to take on Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise's roles in this Knight and Day remake. The stars let it sizzle as they flaunt their toned bodies. We have seen the fireworks in Dhoom 2 and going by the teaser, it will just get better from here.
Let the cool begin: The teaser has a Dhoom feel to it -- slick action shots, tight editing, foot-tapping background music and perfect-looking stars with guns. "I spent three years writing the film. The kind of action you'll get to see here has hardly been attempted in the industry before. It's a blend of action and romance in the truest sense. I am really happy with the way Hrithik and Katrina have infused life into their characters," says the film's director Siddharth Anand.
Fast cars: Check out for the sequence where Hrithik races other cars and easily leaves them behind. There is another action sequence in the film where Hrithik shot with 120 cars. For lovers of adrenaline-pumping action sequences involving fast cars, this is manna from heaven.

Official teaser of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif-starrer 'Bang Bang' has taken the Bollywood by storm with celebrities heaping praise on both the stars. 'Bang Bang', an upcoming action-thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand, is the remake of 2012 Hollywood flick 'Knight and Day' starring Tom Cruize and Cameron Diaz. Bollywood stars took to Twitter to praise the one-minute official clip of the film, which shows Hrithik and Katrina don action avatars. "No this is what you call a TEASE!! The mind is blown!!" Karan Johar tweeted, while actress Parineeti Chopra wrote, "What an amazing teaser!" Priyanka Chopra, whose Mary Kom trailer came today, tweeted, "Love the teaser of Bang Bang!! Katrina @iHrithik and Siddharth anand!! Killing it!!! (sic). Sonam Kapoor tweeted: "Why are they so good looking!!" Actress Dia Mirza applauding the teaser, wrote, "Smouldering hot. These two can set anything afire. This TEASER is BANGING!" Director-producer Sanjay Gupta said the film looks better than the original Hollywood movie. "Shot at a fraction of Knight and Day's budget, Bang Bang looks even better than the original," he wrote on Twitter. '2 States' star Arjun Kapoor tweeted he will watch the film first day first show. Hrithik's action scenes in 'Bang Bang' had cost him a brain surgery last year as the actor had hit his head during the shoot of the film. 'Bang Bang', a Fox Star Studios production, marks Hrithik's third film with Katrina after 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and 'Agneepath', where the actress seen in an item song.
