Hrithik Roshan is overwhelmed and humbled by the love that he was receiving from fans for his performance in Super 30.
Hrithik Roshan has been receiving rave reviews for his portrayal of math wizard Anand Kumar in Vikas Bahl's Super 30, the trailer of which dropped on the web earlier this week. One fan was blown away by his performance and tweeted, "How do you do this every time? Get to the core of the character, sense their emotions and portray them to all of us with so much ease and elan? How do you get the courage and conviction to take roles that takes you off the beaten path? To the road less travelled? #Super30" The overwhelmed actor responded, "The emotional journey of my characters is very similar to my own emotional journey as a person, I am humbled by your appreciation and promise to keep working hard."
Currently, Hrithik is gearing up for the release of Super 30, which marks his entry into the biopic genre. The film is based on the life of Anand Kumar, who started Super 30, an educational programme where 30 meritorious students from impoverished backgrounds are chosen and trained to get into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Super 30 found itself in the middle of a controversy when its director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment by a former employee of Phantom Films. Though he was asked to step down after the allegations, his name was brought back in the credits after he was cleared of all charges, following an internal investigation. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Reliance Entertainment and (the now-defunct) Phantom Films, Super 30 also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Tripathi in key roles. The film will hit the theatres on July 12.

While sharing the picture on social media, the `Bang Bang` actor revealed about his learning from the film. "The character was of a teacher, but on this set, I was a student. This is my #Super30. I learnt a lot from his penance, temperament and enthusiasm," he wrote. In the picture, he can be seen posing with his 30 students from the film. He is seen sporting a dark blue short kurta paired with brown pants along with the full-bearded look. In the movie, Hrithik is playing the role of a mathematician Anand Kumar and his famous educational programme `Super 30`. Anand Kumar trains underprivileged Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) aspirants to crack the entrance exam for the prestigious institute. The first look posters of the film were unveiled in September 2018 which took the Internet by storm. However, according to various media reports, after the mathematician got accused of fraud results in 2018, the makers reportedly decided to not call their film a biopic anymore. It is now an inspirational story about a dedicated teacher`s attempts to give his students the best shot at cracking the tough IIT-JEE entrance examination. Produced by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films, `Super 30` also stars Mrunal Thakur, Amit Sadh and Nandish Sandhu. The film will hit the theatres on July 12.
