Now, Hrithik Roshan has been roped in to play a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's Om Shanti Om. The actor will play himself in the film. The latest addition to the stellar cast of Om Shanti Om is Hrithik Roshan. If sources are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan have already spoken to the actor about this special sequence, which will be shot later this month.
However, they are yet to decide on the shooting dates, as Hrithik is currently busy filming for Jodha Akbar in Karjat. The actor will play himself and will be seen gracing an awards gala in the film alongside Shah Rukh. The sequence will see both the actors contending for the Best Actor award at the popular Filmfare Awards.
A source informs, "Hrithik has agreed to do the scene and it's going to be a brief appearance. Farah will shoot with him once he is back from Karjat." Set in the tinsel town of the '70s, the film traces Shah Rukh's journey from a struggling actor to a superstar. Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan will also feature alongside Hrithik and Shah Rukh during the sequence.
A source close to Farah says, "They are all playing themselves. They are nominees at the Filmfare Awards. Akshay is going to film in the first week of October
