Hrithik Rules Awards


Hrithik-starrer `Koi Mil Gaya', the film based on extra-terrestrial creature, bagged the top honors at Apsara. The film recieved best film awards and it also earned the best director's award for the actor's father Rakesh Roshan. Apsara Award for the Best Actor in a leading role (male) in films went to Hrithik Roshan for Koi Mil Gaya who faced stiff competition from other nominees like Ajay Devgan, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Sanjay Dutt. Film thespian Dilip Kumar was conferred upon with the lifetime achievement award.

Cine stars of three generations represented by yesteryear star Shammi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna and Hrithik presented the coveted award to the colossus of Hindi cinema. Applauding the legendary actor for his inimitable style and his dazzling performance through the years, the trio congratulated Dilip Kumar for his stern performances and creating a niche in the Indian celluloid world.
