Glamour and glitz of Bollywood make its mark on one of the world’s most prestigious locations- Harrods
Thursday 14th September will see the glamour and glitz of Bollywood make its mark on one of the world’s most prestigious locations - Harrods, for the official launch of ‘Bollywood Legends’. Bollywood heartthrob - Hrithik Roshan and leading lady - Kajol will come to Harrods to set the stores’ toy department alight with a day of Bollywood themed entertainment and activities dedicated to the stars and the first ever range of Bollywood dolls.
The World’s most famous department store, which first opened its doors in 1849, will fill their Toy Kingdom on the 4th floor, to the brim with all things Bollywood to launch the enchanting Bollywood dolls. To start off this unmissable day both Hrithik and Kajol will arrive at Harrods in a spectacular horse drawn carriage adding a true fairy tale atmosphere to this grand event, followed by a visit to the Toy Kingdom where the stars will greet their fans and exclusively sign the dolls. In addition to this children will also get the chance to explore Bollywood with dance workshops, teaching all the moves from the hit movies - adding to a spectacular Bollywood atmosphere.
As well as Hrithik and Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra have also been transformed into fine 12” replica’s for all Bollywood lovers out there to reach out and add a little bit of Bollywood magic straight into your homes.
Entrepreneur Shameen Jivraj first came up with the creation of the Bollywood Legends Dolls four years ago. She brings with her an array of toy industry experience having headed up the ‘Sindy Doll’ development team as well as many other well-known children’s brands such as ‘Star Wars’ ‘Playdoh’ and ‘Teletubbies’. She recently approached Spin Master Toys UK to take on the UK distribution of the dolls.
