Three mega prize winners of the ‘Play it cool with Krrish’ Contest met their favourite star Hrithik Roshan.
ITC’s fashionable and youthful men’s apparel brand John Players’ association with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has taken a new stride with the brand associating itself with Hrithik’s latest superhit movie, Krrish. The retailing major has been involved in a co-branded promotion, ‘Play it cool with Krrish’ Contest. Three Mega Prize winners of the ‘Play it cool with Krrish’ Contest – two from Delhi and one from Mumbai were recently flown to Mumbai to meet their favourite star Hrithik Roshan.
“For us, associating with Krrish is another step in strengthening the celebrity association of John Players. Hrithik Roshan, a role model for countless young Indians, symbolizes John Players core brand philosophy of youth, playfulness and style. This contest was yet another way of reaching out to young Indians,” said Atul Chand, Vice President (Marketing and Retail), ITC’s Lifestyle Retailing Business.
For the winners, Santanu Changmai, Seema Punwani, and Lav Anand it was a lifetime opportunity to meet their favorite star. The winners, on their part, were all excited and thrilled to meet the superstar. An enthused Santanu Changmai, a contest winner from Delhi, said that he hadn’t expected to win and now that he is face to face with Hrithik – the experience is nothing short of incredible. Seema Punwani, a contest winner from Mumbai said, “Winning the contest came as a surprise and it is indeed nice to meet Hrithik”. Hrithik was extremely friendly and comfortable with them and even shared his thoughts on Krrish with the winners and other fans present on the occasion.
