Farhan Akhtar’s all set to take over the small screen with his TV show Oye... It’s Friday on December 12. And the first guest to make an appearance on this show is one other than his best buddy Hrithik Roshan.
The show has no formal conversations but the Rock On star promises that there’s a lot of fun and humour on his show. And Hrithik can vouch for that. While hosting the show, Farhan in his usual playful mood, asked Hrithik about his closeness to his Jodhaa Akbar co-star.
Hrithik turned red with embarrassment but Farhan continued teasing him. Finally when he saw that his buddy was a little uncomfortable in his seat, he laughed and said, “I was talking about your co-star the elephant with whom you spent so much time together.” That was enough for the two and the audience to burst out laughing.

The director, actor cum singer Farhan Akhtar is all set to rock the small screen as host on NDTV Imagine’s Oye…It’s Friday.
It’s entertainment – plain and simple. One-hour of cutting edge humour, dazzling performances, news making guests, edgy style all rolled into one… it is the greatest entertainment extravaganza ever!
According to our source, “Hrithik Roshan will be the first guest and will share some light hearted moments with Farhan. And it will be a treat to watch Hrithik perform too”.
The buzz is also that Karan Johar will be the next guest on the show. “Producers are still contemplating on their lineup of guests for the show. They have spoken to Karan, but nothing is confirmed as yet”, adds our source.
Farhan is the first in the line of seriously irreverent, seriously interesting personalities that will host Oye…It’s Friday on Imagine. These hosts will switch and swap over the course of the series and will surprise and entertain you week after week!
