Hrithik Roshan was in London today at Madame Tussauds Museum to reveal his wax figure. The look of the statue has been kept under wraps, but today fans got to see wax Hrithik in all his Dhoom glory. In homage to one of his most famous roles, he is portrayed in a short sleeved shirt left wide open to reveal his toned and taut body to full effect. The figure took four months to make at a cost of £150,000. Roshan was completely involved in the creation of the statue attending two sittings in Mumbai and London where sculptors captured a catalogue of reference photographs and hundreds of precise measurements. Hrithik also donated the red shirt and dark blue jeans his figure is wearing.

Hrithik was accompanied by his parents, father Rakesh Roshan, mother Pinky, grandfather J Om Prakash, wife Sussanne and their two sons. He said, "I am thrilled that my entire family is with me sharing this wonderful moment. More than the wax figure it's a matter of emotions and pride that my family is there to see all this today. It is made up of what I have received from my parents, grandparents, sister and wife. They have made me what I am. I dedicate this to my family."

The actor revealed his first reaction once he saw his wax likeness saying, "I can't believe I'm here in Madame Tussauds unveiling a wax figure of myself. It's incredible just how detailed the figure is...it is absolutely incredible. The eyes are perfect. It almost seems as if it has a mind and a soul and a thought process is going on because I look at it and it looks back at me. It's like its saying, 'Dude, you look like me'."

He did say, however that looking at himself in wax was a bit odd, "It is actually freaky. I really need to coin a new word for the Oxford dictionary to articulate what this feels like. Because yes, it is exciting, it is overwhelming, it is humbling. But...there is a little bit of creepiness that is also mixed with all that."

Hrithik also talked about coming to Madame Tussauds when he was just nine years old. "25 years ago I was standing in line with my Grandfather super excited to get into the Madame Tussauds. My grandfather was very tired but I was relentless. I just didn't let him go. This morning he tells me, he is as excited as that child was that day, 25 years ago coming to the Madame Tussauds. It is a beautiful feeling." Adding,"It is wonderful, when I see it through the eyes of my family, it feels like the best feeling in the world."

Liz Edwards, PR Manager at Madame Tussauds London commented: "We're delighted to welcome Hrithik (and his family) here today and to be including his figure in our Bollywood area. It is one of our most popular areas in the entire attraction and we know it's going to be even more so with Hrithik now featured in the line up. As we reported earlier, Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan today came face-to-face with his wax figure at Madame Tussuads London. The unveiling event was also attended by his father Rakesh Roshan, mother Pinky Roshan, his gorgeous wife Sussanne Roshan, sister Sunaina Roshan and Hrithik's maternal grandfather J. Om Prakesh and his wife. BollySpice was there and we have this exclusive report!

The event started with Bollywood dancers performing on the songs of Kites ('Fire'), Kaho Na Pyaar Hai (Title song), Krrish ('Dil Na Diya') and Dhoom 2 ('Dhoom Again'). Hrithik Roshan then made his grand entry with competition winners and press cheering for the Bollywood star. A live band was playing the instrumentals of 'Bole Chudiyan' from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghamwhich can be seen in our exclusive video, which Hrithik seemed to enjoy with a joyful smile on his face.

Hrithik Roshan was amazed and astonished when he got up close and personal with his own wax figure at Tussauds London. The only word that came out of his mouth in amazement after inspecting the statue was "WOW". Hrithik Roshan posed for photographers in different poses, but also in his Dhoom 2 style, like the statue standing next to him.

His family seemed to be more excited and considered this a big honor for Hrithik and themselves. Sussanne Khan Roshan could not stop smiling with bliss and even gave a peck to the dummy while standing next to it. Also, the youngest member of his family Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan got a close up view of the statue. His Parents were clearly proud of his achievement and admired the statue for some time, with happiness on their faces and pride in their eyes.

Speaking about the likeness of the statue Hrithik said,"It almost feels like it's got a mind and a soul. This statue is a symbol of all the love and support and the kindness that I have received from the people who make me, me. So, I would firstly like to dedicate this (statue) to the spirit of family all over the world. To family and to fans, not just my fans but all fans in the world for the spirit they instill. Without them we would be nothing today."

He also thanked Madame Tussauds. Hrithik is so impressed with the likeness of his statue that he said that all the artists, which make these figures, should have a wax figure of their own. "We have to honor the artists because it's an absolutely genius work which is phenomenal. I have been through the entire process of how it is all done and believe me, I am a fan of these artists of Madame Tussauds and will remain so," he said.

To the question where he would like his statue to be standing in the hall Hrithik said; "All by myself somewhere in the corner (laughing). I look around, and all these people are legends and icons. It's such an honor and humbling. There are so many feelings in my mind and body right now that, I really can't articulate how amazing this feels."

In an exclusive with Hrithik's wife Sussanne Khan Roshan she says: "It's such an honor for him to be here. I know that he deserves it, so somewhere I am really happy."

The one particular thing that she liked about the statue are the eyes."They are unreal. They kind of speak out at you. And once you get the eyes, the rest of it is done," she said.

On the 250th Anniversary of Madame Tuassauds brought Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan today face to face with his wax figure. Back in June, the star worked closely with the team at Madame Tussauds London, to ensure the pose, the frame and those biceps to die for were spot on. Fans and members of the press were eager to see the unveiling of this wonderful piece of art. The actor walked into a line up of his hit songs, from Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Dhoom. He was 'bopping' along to the songs as he walked in.

His family; once upon time actor Rakesh Roshan, his mother Pinky Roshan, his beautiful wife Susaane Roshan, sister Sunaina Roshan and Hrithik's maternal grandfather producer, director J. Om Prakesh were present; constantly adorning a smile.

On meeting his double Hrithik Roshan commented I can't believe I'm here in Madame Tussauds amongst all these legends. I came to Madame Tussauds 25 years ago with my grand-father and I remember I was so excited, I was misbehaving in the line to enter the attraction. And today my grand-father told me how excited he is to see me amidst of these legends. I think I will need to articulate a new word for the Oxford Dictionary to say how I feel today.

The star of notable films including Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Dhoom 2, Krrish, Jodhaa Akbar and Guzaarish is the youngest male actor from India to be bestowed with this honour by Madame Tussauds.

The wax figure of Hrithik Roshan was wearing a pink glittery waste jacket with denims. As the curtain was raised Hrithik walked around the wax figure shocked to see how amazing it looked. He said he was very impressed with his double and is a fan of the artists who put together the statue.

Liz Edwards, PR Manager at Madame Tussauds London commented; We're delighted to welcome Hrithik and his family here today and to be including his figure in our Bollywood area. It is one of our most popular areas in the entire attraction and we know its going to be even more with Hrithik now featured in the line up. The pose is so striking it is sure to wow fans and get ladies hearts a flutters.

Sussanne Roshan (Hrithik’s wife) was equally over-joyed I am so delighted, our whole family is and today is a day that will always be etched in my memory. This is something I am sure my kids will remember and a story that I would share with my grand-children one day.
