Actor Hrithik Roshan was bowled over by the magnificent performance of Team India in the World Cup final against Sri Lanka and says skipper M.S. Dhoni's winning six was the perfect end to the match.

"Last night, Indian team proved themselves to be the biggest heroes. They were up against one of the best teams. It's the madness that carried them through. And the final winning six of Dhoni... I am a cinema guy so in my way I would say it was a perfect screenplay," Hrithik told reporters at the launch of Provogue's new Spring Summer Catalogue at Novotel Hotel here today.

India defeated Sri Lanka at the ICC World Cup final by six wickets to lift the World Cup after 28 years. India had last won the cup in 1983.

What's in: After celebrating the Indian cricket team's World Cup victory till the wee hours of Sunday morning, Sonakshi Sinha and Hrithik Roshan got back to facing the camera. The stars turned up at a hotel on Juhu yesterday afternoon for the launch of the summer-spring catalogue 2011 for a fashion label they endorse. Duggu was spotted at the event in glares -- to keep red eyes at bay?

Though B-Town took an off on Saturday, Karan Johar's Agneepath unit starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra were quietly shooting in Yari Road. A crew member informs, "The World Cup spirit was quite visible on the sets. While all the male assistant directors and production folk had painted their faces with the national flag, all the girls wore blue nail varnish -- the Indian cricket team's colours. The stars even while shooting were keeping tabs on the score.

Superstar Hrithik Roshan and newcomer Sonakshi Sinha have formed the Bollywood's latest alliance, not for a movie though but for an endorsement.

It was hard to be ignored when Hrithik and Sonakshi recently come together to endorse a clothing brand. They appeared to be the members of a mutual admiration society. While on the filmy front Hrithik appeared to be dying to work with Sonakshi, the latter seemed to be his die hard fan.

On their first assignment together Hrithik said, "I am happy she is the new face. We have lived in the same neighbourhood and known each other, I think she is great and has a great future ahead of her. I am dying to work with her."

"He is the counterpart and sharing the space with him is amazing," said Sonakshi. Unlike her Dabangg co-star Salman Khan, she was all praise for Hrithik's last release Guzaarish.

"I cried while watching Guzaarish. In fact I even spoke to Mr Bhansali also after that," said Sonakshi expressing her desire to work with Hrithik, "I definitely am looking forward to work with him. It has started on a great note and hopefully we will see more. It would be my privilege. I am too small a person to comment on him. He is one of my most favourite actors. How much ever I talk about him is less."
