The capital recently saw the launch of the Rado DiaMaster collection and its latest advertising campaign featuring brand ambassadors Hrithik Roshan and Lisa Ray at JW Marriott. Social circuit regulars and designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil were spotted swaying to numbers belted out by saxophone player Rie Ona at the do. Speaking on the occasion, Mattias Breschan, brand president, Rado Watch Co Ltd, said, "Rado has always been a trendsetter, in material, design and technology. Hrithik and Lisa have been incredible additions to this family, and we are proud to have Hrithik here with us to celebrate the launch of our new eye-catching collection."
The launch started with a ballet performance, perfect with elegant pirouettes and aerial dancers, and led to the screening of the new commercial and a theatrical entry by Hrithik. The actor then had an interactive session with the crowd, inviting a fan on stage and even doing the famous Ek Pal Ka Jeena move. He even crooned Senorita for the crowd, and taught Mattias some moves.
Hrithik said, "When I was a kid, my dad wore a Rado watch and the image of that watch has been anchored in my head as the image of what a real man should look like. I've always wanted a watch of this brand, and now I'm its brand ambassador! It's come a full circle." Simran Chandhoke, brand manager, was also spotted at the do.
