The competition wasn’t easy... what with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in the fray. But Hrithik Roshan emerged to be the winner hands down. And guess who voted him as the best. Some 1,500 kids. Last week, for the first time in the history of awards, kids from all over Mumbai introduced their very own ‘Chhoton Ka Funda Awards 2003’ and Hrithik was unanimously chosen for their ‘Kamaal Da Actor Award’ for his performance in Koi... Mil Gaya. What’s more! This was the first award Hrithik has got for the film. And he’s more than thrilled. At a function organized at Fun Republic in Andheri, amidst screams of joy from children who surrounded him, the actor quipped, “Kids love instinctively. Their love is honest and in the purest form. So kids choosing me as their favourite actor puts me on cloud nine. I will cherish this award forever”.
