Dance performances by former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, ''Khiladi'' man Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta, Urmila Matondkar were applauded by the audiences. But the highlight of the function was the tribute to movie greats, who have made a mark in the Indian Cinema, like Dilip Kumar and Rajesh Khanna, down to Anil Kapoor by Superstar of today Shah Rukh Khan. Kapoor, the versatile actor later took the job of calling Shah Rukh and Hrithik Roshan(star for the future) on stage. Hrithik was overwhelmed by being called on stage after such great legends and made a small speech.
When Shah Rukh asked Rajesh Khanna how it felt to be a superstar, he said that the love of fans is itself overwhelming. Dilip Kumar told Shah Rukh that no actor is bigger than the character he plays and it was sheer good luck, hard work, honesty, togetherness and fellowship that had made him (Dilip Kumar) what he is today.
