Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan today said if he ever made films, he would like to keep Kolkata's trams in the scheme of things.
Hrithik, who made a hurricane tour of the metro on the occasion of the launch of a heritage tram by Radio Mirchi, said, "I have always had a great feeling about these trams of the city. They are quite romantic. I have heard great tales of trams in Kolkata. It feels good to be a part of anything to revive it."
The man who has once again hit the bull's eye with Farhan Akhtar's Lakshya said, "I would like to keep trams within the scheme of things if I ever make a film. It would add a special aura to the film."
He was present for the launching of the tram, decorated and refurbished with pictures and posters of cultural icons and familiar landmarks, giving a tremendous boost to the sagging image of the car on rails that chug in and out of the depots across the city in utter humility having fallen from grace in recent times.
Sports Minister Subhas Chakraborty launched the tram on behalf of the private radio channel.
