Four years after the period film, 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey', based on the Chittagong uprising of 1930, Ashutosh Gowariker is gearing up to direct a historical romance set in Mohenjo-daro. And he is trying to put together a crack team of technicians to ensure that the production is top-of-the-line.

A source told Mirror that acclaimed German cinematographer Karl Walter Lindenlaub has been signed to recreate the Indus Valley civilization of 2600 BC for the filmmaker. Karl was the Director of Photography on A-list Hollywood projects like Independence Day, Stargate, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, The Jackal and The Haunting, to name a few. "Ashutosh has also roped in Hollywood stunt coordinator, Glenn Boswell. who has an impressive filmography that includes titles like Titanic, The Matrix and The Hobbit series, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Ghost Rider," informs the source. "He has also got AR Rahman on board to compose the music."

When contacted, Rahman remained tightlipped about the film but admitted that he was composing the music for Ashutosh's mega serial Everest. "It's a sweet story, I was fascinated by the idea," says the maestro, who will be scoring for television for the first time. The lead actors will be trained at Uttarkashi's Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. They will shoot in Uttarakhand for two months before moving to Nepal. Everest is conceptualized and produced by Ashutosh and helmed by director duo Glenn and Ankush.
