Bonus: You don't need a home gym for this routine
Hrithik Roshan has morphed from being Bollywood's chiselled, oily Greek God to a fitness fanatic who's been able to cultivate a healthy lifestyle by making the best of the scenarios he's in. These scenarios range from being on sets for countless hours to camping on an offsite shooting location and well, the present day: A self-quarantined milieu.
In an email interview with GQ, Hrithik Roshan, who’s also the proud co-owner of HRX, an activewear brand, tells us that he's curated a new home workout routine for himself to stay fit and pumped. In fact, gym or no gym, there's no stopping him! “A gym where you find the motivation of watching others, equipment for all kinds of muscle groups is great. But the bottom line is if you have to work out, and there is no gym, then we follow the mantra that one does not need a gym to workout . I mean just the floor can be enough if you do a little search on all possible floor exercises! So no excuses.â€
Hrithik Roshan’s new home workout routine:
“I am a believer in making the best of whatever situation you are in. These days I do a yoga stretching routine in the morning. Which takes about an hour. And my evening workout is circuit training combining 5-6 exercises which have weights, functional all included. My usual workout is a combination of strength training, cardio and weights. HRX workout is a derivative of my routine yes and it’s a part of my regime too.â€
He's also added a host of immunity boosting foods in his daily diet, and swears by eating clean and wholesome meals.
