The first look of “Guzaarish” was unveiled here Thursday and Hrithik Roshan, who reportedly plays a magician suffering from paraplegia, says working in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film was like a life-changing experience for him.
“It’s true that I have not done anything that has been life-altering. This film has changed my perspective towards work, changed my life. It’s so beautiful that 30 years or 40 years from now, I will look back and will smile that I had the opportunity to make this film,” Hrithik told reporters at Cinemax, where the first look of “Guzaarish” was unveiled.
“When such a vision, it feels that some films are made for just to see and this is one of that kind, so I just jumped at it,” added the star whose last outing “Kites” couldn’t excite the box office.

The hot Bollywood couple Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who have enthralled audiences in Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar are back with a bang in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest film, Guzaarish. The duo released the first look and trailer of ‘Guzaarish’ at a Mumbai multiplex on September 23rd.
Hrithik, who plays a paraplegic magician’s character in the movie, couldn’t stop gushing about working with Bhansali for the first time. “I frankly wasn’t nervous at all, until I reached this spot and watched the trailer. Now, I am shaking! I just want to say that this film is more than a film to me. It’s so many things that I can’t articulate. I have been very lucky to have worked with this team, especially the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This entire film is the manifestation of this man’s vision,” said Hrithik.
When quizzed about the challenges that he faced while playing the role of a disabled man, Hrithik replied, “I don’t think I have done anything in my life that actually has been life altering. This film changed my perspective on the world. It’s so beautiful that 20 years, 40 years from now I will look back and smile that I had the opportunity to make this film.”
We are certainly not complaining. Hrithik looks like a Greek god in the film’s promos and the trailer is a visual spectacle. “When such a vision is on the table, you just can’t say no. Some films are made for commercial reasons, some films are made for whatever reasons, but some films must be made for the world to see. That’s the kind of film ‘Guzaarish’ is and that is why I just jumped in,” explained Hrithik.
‘Guzaarish’, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and produced by UTV Motion pictures, will beed on November 19, 2010.

Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan says that his upcoming movie Guzaarish, which releases on Nov 19, is special to him because it changed the way he sees the world.
The actor unveiled the first look of the film, which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opposite him.
The 36-year-old actor plays a popular magician in the movie who becomes paraplegic after meeting with a near fatal accident.
Hrithik said his role in Guzaarish was his most difficult as well as the easiest. “Easiest because I managed to essay it under the guidance of Bhansali,” said the actor.
Guzaarish is Aishwarya’s third film with Bhansali. While each film with the director is an amazing experience, the latest project was exceptional, said the actress.
“Guzaarish is a beautiful piece of cinema,” she said. When asked about she and Hrithik being referred to as the magical pair of silver screen having delivered hits like Dhoom 2 and Jodha Akbar, Aishwarya said she works with directors and not co-stars.
“We actors play characters that the director envisages. I am fortunate to have worked with wonderful co-stars throughout my career,” she said.
Bhansali refused to divulge details of the film saying it was too early to do so. “The film is about the beauty, hope and the joy of living,” he said.
Bhansali has debuted as a music composer for the film. “I did the music because I understand the characters well. This was just an experiment. There are eight songs in the film and 12 in the music album,” said the director.
