Hrithik has been working without a break and his first one will come no sooner than October, when the Roshans attend a wedding in Cannes
It was only a month back, on July 7, that Hrithik Roshan underwent a brain surgery. Just days later, on July 11, as he stepped out of the hospital in a hoodie, he hopped around as the waiting media clicked away. The man seemed to be trying to prove a point — he was fit, and raring to go.
And that’s just what he did, as he resumed work to wrap up his superhero film, Krrish 3. Then, on August 5, as he launched the trailer of the film, it was hard to tell that anything had happened to him at all. It seems that Hrithik has been working non-stop — along with filmmaker-father Rakesh Roshan — for the past four weeks on the post-production for the film. What keeps him going, we wonder. Hrithik says, “Problems are always going to exist. Everything will be taken away from you except the freedom of choosing your attitude in any given environment. Once you get that right, creating results becomes effortless.”
Hrithik’s earliest break won’t come until October, when the actor — along with his family, including mother Pinky and sister Sunaina — is set to attend the wedding of close family friends Kimi and Pamela Grover’s son, Kunal, in Cannes (on October 12). Hrithik says, “For the past four weeks, I’ve been sitting on the post (production) and VFX (visual effects). I’m doing my best to meet all the deadlines in time, so that the entire Roshan family can be at the wedding.”
The Roshans seem to have all their hopes pinned on part three of their successful superhero franchise. “I’m going to make the best of this time given to me. Even with a hole in my brain, my spirit is intact. The surgery has reaffirmed new values. It could not tie me down,” Hrithik says.
