They own the silver-screen and set the cash registers ringing. We crunch the numbers to list the top seven moneymakers in Bollywood...
Hrithik Roshan
He had a dream launch no doubt, but Hrithik known for his Greek-God looks has proved to be an actor of great substance. From the romantic hero in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, the royal king in Jodhaa Akbar, the quadriplegic magician in Guzaarish, the angry young man of Agneepath, to superhero Krrish, Hrithik continues to spin his magic at the BO. Agneepath and Krrish 3 were among the all-time highest grossing films of Bollywood.
He and his father Rakesh Roshan have been a winning combination. The only time they went wrong was in Kites, which Roshan senior produced. The actor who believes in doing only one movie at a time is now teaming up with his Jodhaa Akbar director Ashutosh Gowariker for Mohenjo-Daro. Given their track record they are likely to recreate or perhaps surpass the success of Jodhaa Akbar.

There is no formula for a hit film and yet there are some directors who always get it right. They have bottled the magical potion of success, which works on the audience. Here's the list of directors who have hit the bull's eye with every film they made..
Rakesh Roshan
Actor-turned-director-producer Rakesh Roshan reinvents himself with every film. From the formulaic Karan Arjun to the superhero franchise Krrish, Roshan Sr has churned out films in different genres. Apart from a Kites and Koyla that turned out to be tepid fares at the BO, the filmmaker has had a high strike rate. To him also goes the credit of giving a dream launch to his son Hrithik, who became an overnight sensation with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. The father-son duo went on to give several hits and are responsible for giving India its first superman, Krrish. They are now working on their next film, which for a change, is not from the Krrish stable!
