A permanent change is about to take place
There’s a new film featuring Hrithik Roshan, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Lopez and many others–that you should watch–not just for its big starcast, but for what they’re trying to tell you. People world over will come together for The Global Goals campaign founded by Richard Curtis in partnership with United Nations, and here’s how it’s going to make a big difference to your future:
The mission: 17 global goals for sustainable development that lead to the achievement of three extraordinary things in the next 15 years—ending poverty, fighting inequality and injustice and fixing climatic changes.
The aim: To reach 7 billion people in 7 days, starting 25th September 2015.
The film: The crowd-sourced video written and directed by Curtis and Mat Whitecross, titled We The People, it already has A R Rahman, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan participating, alongwith Hollywood stars like Ashton Kutcher, Bill and Melinda Gates, Cate Blanchett, Daniel Craig, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Winslet and more.
What you can do: Add your voice to the film and co-star alongside the famous, to tell everyone about the future we will strive to have. Upload your footage by reading the lines from the script, and choose the goal you’re most passionate about. Details here.
While the complete movie will be unveiled on the Google homepage on 25th September and launched at the Global Citizen Festival on 26th September in New York, here’s the promo to get you started.

The Global Goals Campaign launches We the People - a crowdsourced film where everyone is invited to join the world's biggest cast and star alongside some of the world's biggest names. The film will be unveiled on the Google homepage when the Global Goals are adopted on the September 25. Joining the initiative from India, A R Rahman, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan have already contributed and crowdsourced footage for We the People.
