After creating traffic snarls at Times Square, the team of Kites was in London for a gala European premiere at the West End. If Hrithik Roshan chose to be in royal black, Barbara Mori was no different. She looked sassy in a beautiful black short dress. Directed by the talented Anurag Basu, ‘Kites’ is the biggest project ever for Film Kraft, and producer Rakesh Roshan is undoubtedly leaving no stone unturned to make it a huge success in the international arena. For all of you who don’t know, ‘Kites’ is set for a grand release this Friday on more than 2,000 screens worldwide, including 200 in North America. The film is expected to open the global movie market to Indian films. Its racy English version edited by Brett Ratner will release on May 28. Also seen along with the ‘Kites’ team at the London premiere were Hrithik’s gorgeous wife Sussanne Roshan, mama Pinky Roshan and sister Sunaina Roshan’s daughter Suranika.

Hrithik Roshan, wife Suzanne, and Kites co-star Barbora Mori delighted fans at the London premiere of the film at Leicester Square on Tuesday, May 18. Hrithik and Suzanne made an adorable couple exuding style and sophistication. Suzanne wowed in a floor length backless empire waist light brown gown. Its shiny matted fabric had a floral self print and gold bodice with plunging halter neckline. She accessorized with a clutch and white wrap Hrithik looked dapper in a three piece black suite with satin edging. He wore a white shirt and tie. Barbara charmed in a mini strapless dress with ruffled asymmetrical bubble helm that flaunted her well toned body.
Others at the event included film producer and Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik's mother Pinky Roshan, film director Anurag Basu and his wife, music director and papa Roshan's brother Rajesh Roshan and his wife, plus senior members of the Reliance Big Pictures. The Kites teams' arrival in London for the premiere was plagued with some uncertainity because volcanic ash once again disrupted flights to Europe. After promoting the film and attending its premiere on Sunday, May 16, in New York the team managed to fly to London late on Monday.

For a while it seemed a lost opportunity for the hyper-anxious team of the Kites cast and production members who were in New York for the premiere on Sunday. The team comprising of Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Sussanne Roshan, Rakesh Roshan, wife Pinky Roshan, Anurag Basu and his wife, Rajesh Roshan and his wife plus senior members of the Reliance Big Pictures team were supposed to fly out of New York after the premiere on Monday evening for the London premiere at Leicester Square on Tuesday. That's when the ash clouds struck again and almost all the flights to Europe had to be cancelled or diverted. On Monday morning the Kites team waited anxiously for the verdict. Not being able to reach London in team for the premiere would have meant huge losses. However the team arrived in London from New York late Monday evening. Sanjeev Lamba, the CEO of Reliance Big Picture, says "Flights carrying all of us landed on Monday evening. We were in American and British airlines. Both landed safely and on time."
