The actor is put on a high protein diet, comprising 22 eggs a day for his role in Agneepath It's not easy to slip under the skin of one of Hindi cinema's iconic characters Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, but Hrithik Roshan, who plays the character in Karan Johar's remake of Agneepath is up for the challenge. It took the hazel-eyed star less than a month to shed the flab that he had piled on around his middle for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish. And now, he is set raise the bar of fitness for KJo's next.
His trusted trainer Satyajit Chaurasia is whipping him into shape. "Hrithik is undergoing a special exercise regimen for four hours every day. He spends an hour doing cardio every morning and three hours in the evening lifting weights," says Chaurasia. The actor's diet has also been tweaked. Chocolates and fried foods are out. "He has to eat lots of chicken and consume 22 eggs every day," says his trainer. "He breaks down the intake of eggs through the day, taking four in a single shot. This makes it easier for him to stick to his diet."
Adds Chaurasia, "To begin with, we are working on expanding his arms. When we started out his arms measured sixteen-an-a-half inches. We need to notch up 18."
