Hrithik Roshan, who was in Singapore to promote his forthcoming film Krrish 3 recently, revealed that he wanted to play the villain in it. At one of the events, he told the audience, "When I read the script, the villain's role looked very exciting. Since I've already played the positive guy, I thought I could play the villain this time around. But my father (Rakesh Roshan, who's also the film's producer and director) was firm that I can never play the villain." When asked his view on why this franchise has worked when many other superhero films have failed in India, Hrithik said, "The character connects emotionally, plus it took one entire film to establish the character of Krrish."

As girls broke into tears and cheered for Hrithik at one appearance, the actor had to finally give in to their demand and remove his glares so they could admire his eyes. When Hrithik — who had worn his glares at various events all day — finally relented, he threw his eyewear to the crowd, much to their delight. He continued to wow them, dancing with some fans and even doing the bhangra with an emcee at a public event. Must say, the superstar managed to create a frenzy in Singapore too!
