It was time to take a walk down memory lane as friends, relatives and well-wishers gathered to wish veteran filmmaker Mohan Kumar a very happy 75th birthday. The party, hosted by his son Rohit Kumar, was a grand affair, with a number of yesteryear stars in attendance. Rakesh Roshan came with wife Pinky Roshan and bahu Sussanne Roshan, who made her first social appearance after her second baby.
It seemed like the perfect time to bond with old aquaintances as Dharmendra, Prem Chopra and Javed Akhtar caught up with each other, laughing and joking for a long time. Jeetendra walked in solo, looking dapper in a white shirt and jeans. Salim Khan and Helen walked in together as did Ravi Chopra and wife Renu. Anil Kapoor looked dashing in all black but it was everyone’s turn to sit up and take notice when Himesh Reshammiya walked in.
Seems like the guy’s really working out — what else explains those bulging biceps and that cleavage revealing shirt?! Lastly, it was Hrithik Roshan’s turn to turn heads, as he walked in much later after a shoot. Good friend and relative Jay Om Prakash gave an emotional speech for Mohan which was followed by a witty ‘Thank you’ speech by Mohan. Others present were Rajkumar Kohli, Dara Singh, Sumeet Saigal, Shabana Azmi and Rahul Ravail.
