Jodha Akbar gave Hrithik a lot of appreciation, it also gave him a lot of pain. The knee injury that he suffered during Dhoom 2, worsened during the making of the period film.
As advised by doctors, Hrithik rested his knee for months. He also went to Australia, Singapore, and Geneva for treatment. It is believed that the actor's last stop was is in Los Angeles for further treatment.
Taking care
A source close to Hrithik reveals,""His next flick, Kites is due to go on floors next month and he is taking utmost care that nothing affects the shooting schedule. Since most of the shoot is going to take place in the US, Hrithik is taking all the required precaution and medication and staying off his feet.""
The source further adds, ""He left for LA last week with wife Sussanne and is returning today. He was suppose to go to LA a month back but with the arrival of his second child, he chose to postpone and stay back and continued doing his physiotherapy right here.""
Says Hrithik's dad, Rakesh Roshan, "" Hrithik is in LA on personal work and returns today morning."" When asked about Hrithik's knee treatment, he adds, ""He's perfectly alright. We begin shooting for Kites on July 20 in New Mexico.""
