Bollywood is on the path of charity. On the one hand there is Salman Khans NGO Being Human while on the other there are several celebrities doing charity in their own small way. Some time back Asin was in the news for her silent acts of kindness and now it is the Roshans. Recently Hrithik Roshan donated a school bus to Dilkhush Special School. It is an educational institution in Juhu for the mentally challenged children.
Father of two, Hrithik Roshan says, 'Children have a very special place in heart. I too have kids and they have a beautiful heart. Being poor is bad enough, but the worst is when one is poor and ill.'In the past, Duggu has sponsored heart operations of 15 children, the amounting to Rs 15 lakh.
Hrithiks wife, Sussanne Roshan too is a charitable person by nature. Speaking about her Hrithik says, 'Sussanne too participates in these charities but she prefers to stay away from the news. She has donated auto rickshaws for those who were desperately in need. The rickshaws run on LPG, for a better and green environment.'
