Impressed by Hrithik's lecture at Subhash Ghai's film school, the management invites him again for 2013

Afew days ago, Hrithik Roshan delivered what was apparently an inspiring lecture at Subhash Ghai's film school, Whistling Woods International. Now, if all goes well, the actor should be putting on his professor's hat again sometime next year. Apparently, the management has invited him again, and he is believed to have said yes.

“We have requested him to visit the school again, once the next session starts, and he has agreed. It’s not officially confirmed yet, since a lot will depend on his shooting schedule and availability. We would love to have him on campus, after he delivered such an aweinspiring lecture,” says Meghna Puri-Ghai, president of the film school and daughter of Subhash Ghai.

Hrithik’s interactive session was with a class of over 300 students. During this, he impressed not just the students, but also the faculty. “It was amazing to see Hrithik show techniques that an actor can use. By the end of the session, everyone was awestruck,” says Meghna.

But it remains to be seen if Hrithik can take time off for another session, since he will be busy next year with Siddharth Anand’s Knight And Day remake (that also stars Katrina Kaif), besides wrapping up the final leg of his father Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish 3.

Hrithik's on Whistling Woods

"My visit here today was such a thrill, such a surprise, I was almost baffled by the amount of infrastructure that exists in this space. The kind of technical education that the students are getting here is invaluable.

What Whistling Woods is doing is invaluable and so inspiring that I would want to be a part of something like this. It is such an amazing service and such an amazing way to give back. I will never forget my interaction with students. Today, for the first time I was enjoying it so much because there was a certain sense of responsibility to educate and inspire and relieve the students from the pressure of the impossibility of this monstrous task.

I thank Subhash ji, Meghna and everyone here to give me this opportunity to be here today. There should be a Halo around Whistling Woods and the sanctity of this place should never be contaminated. It should exist in its purity and create a generation that will come out from here inspired and that will go on a long way in shaping the world of tomorrow. That is the natural progression in all ways, in a creative way and I am leaving this place Proud today."
