Hrithik Roshan is presently concentrating only on wrapping up papa Rakesh Roshan’s superhero film, Krrish 3. But he gives enough hints to indicate that he might soon be signing a film that will be directed by the hit Ek Tha Tiger’s (2012) director, Kabir Khan. Ask Hrithik if he is in talks with Kabir, and all he chooses to say is, “Kabir is a great director. I have immense respect for him. Actually, I’m dying to do a film with him. But at the moment, nothing is on paper.” Guess we’ll have to read between the lines on this one. The trade circle suggests that the actor has had several meetings with Kabir and has even agreed to work in his next. The film is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Trade insiders also suggest that Kabir’s film will roll only after the release of Krrish 3.

“I like to sign a new film only when I am ending my current project. And ideally, that’s when it should be talked about,” says the actor, who is more than excited to talk about the third installment of his superhero film. “For audiences, it’s just another film. It’s going to work on its own merit. Hopefully, it will live up to expectations. For dad and me, it’s the biggest project we have attempted.” There have also been rumours that Hrithik is to work in Zoya Akhtar’s next with Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. “It’s not true, but I’ve always said that I can never say no to Zoya. I am sure she will come to me only if I fit the part,” says Hrithik.

At present, though, after finishing shooting for Krrish 3, Hrithik will start work on Siddharth Anand’s remake of the Tom Cruisestarrer, Knight And Day (2010). “Officially, the film is a remake, but I refuse to look at it like that. I have watched the Hollywood film and Sid’s is nothing like it. For me, it’s a completely fresh movie. Even the characters are different,” clarifies Hrithik.
